My brother wrote this amazing Facebook blog once about the "death of a friend" and he had you convinced that one of his dearest confidant's had died, and right when you were about to weep, he announced that his "friend" was actually his shitty T-mobile and that he's about to get a better cell phone. (Verizon, no doubt.)

Well, I'm not as good as a writer so I'll just come and say: my dearest Canon point 'n' shoot broke. Several months ago. And I had never cared less for something that I once cared so deeply for - okay, so the Canon sounds like it could be an ex-boyfriend in that context. But seriously, it never bothered me because within a month after it stopped working, I started playing around with my school's Nikon D70.

And I think I'm going to buy one before I go to NYC this summer.
